Piping is you perfect sewing partner. You'll often see piping used around the edge of cushions to give a contrasting and bold detail that will really set off a project. But piping can be used in lots of other projects from bag making, furniture design, upholstery and even adding onto dressmaking clothing projects.
The large sized piping is made up of a 7mm polyester insertion cord with a super-soft bias binding tape wrapped around and sewn on, along the cord, with a co-ordinating coloured thread.
The overall width of the made-up piping bias trim is around 19mm and it has a 12mm tail for sewing into or onto your project.
